How do I start a guest photo booth?
Create an event, choose a classic or custom style, add your text and open the guest booth. Check framing and the host controls before handing over the device. Guests take a sequence with a countdown and can retake it. An unanswered result is saved automatically when the timer expires.
What is free, and what do Basic and Plus unlock?
Both editors can be tried before purchase, including photography, saved templates and export with a standard watermark. Basic removes that watermark from classic designs with custom text and paper colour. Plus also removes it from library/custom designs and adds your own logo and watermark controls. Both are one-time purchases. Basic owners can buy the separate Plus Upgrade.
Why does a photo still have a watermark?
Basic does not remove the standard watermark from library templates or your own designs; these require Plus. Existing JPEGs keep the watermark they were created with. A purchase applies to newly created output and does not rewrite old photos.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the purchase screen in Settings and choose Restore purchases using the Apple Account that bought Basic or Plus. Check connectivity and allow verification to finish. Local Xcode tests, TestFlight and real store purchases have separate histories. If access is still missing, contact us before buying again. Restoration does not recover your photos.
How do I change the paper or background?
Open the selected style in its editor. The Basic editor offers text and paper colour. The Plus editor supports custom layouts, one to six photos, text, shapes, backgrounds and logos. Both editors can be explored without buying, with watermark limits on the resulting photos.
Where are my individual photos?
Open a memory, choose an individual image, browse the sequence and export the image you want. Completed photos and originals are stored in the app; saving to Photos or Files creates a separate copy.
How do I get iCloud sync working?
Open Settings → iCloud in One More on both devices. Use the same Apple Account, enable sync and check network access and iCloud storage. Keep the apps open while they sync. Sync includes supported events, templates and photos, but is not an independent historical backup. If it stalls, keep your local originals and contact support rather than deleting the library.
What is the difference between local deletion and deleting everywhere?
Local deletion removes a memory from this device, not necessarily iCloud. Synced content can return. With iCloud enabled, use the explicit delete-from-all-devices action for a memory and let sync finish. Other devices receive it when they sync. Deletion metadata remains to prevent the image returning. Exports, shared copies and backups are separate.
Does deleting an event remove all its photos?
No. Finished memories retain their original names and files. Delete unwanted memories separately. Disabling sync or uninstalling the app does not erase the iCloud library. There is no separate Torvi Studio account to delete.
How do host access and camera permissions work?
Set up the guest booth before use and use the host lock to protect settings. Guest photo and style choices depend on the host configuration. Face ID/device passcode is handled by Apple. Camera, Photos and local network permissions can be changed in system Settings. Tell guests how their photos will be displayed and shared.
Do hand gestures identify people?
No. Optional hand-gesture and person detection run locally with Apple Vision to trigger or control the booth. They do not identify who a person is. Turn them off in the app when not needed. Photos you save may still sync if iCloud is enabled.
Can I print or show photos on a larger screen?
Export PDF print sheets or use manual AirPrint with a compatible printer. Check paper size and printer scaling; ordinary photo paper does not become instant film. External displays/AirPlay can show the audience view. Direct Instax integration and automatic printing are not included in this public mobile version.
Can I use another phone or Apple Watch as a remote?
Use the local remote shutter with compatible paired devices and allow local network access when requested. The Watch companion requires a compatible paired iPhone. Device support varies; not every Bluetooth button or accessory works. This is remote control, not a public gallery or cloud photo collection from guest phones.
Which devices and editions does this page cover?
One More for iPhone and iPad requires iOS/iPadOS 17 or later. The Watch companion requires watchOS 10 or later. These pages do not announce availability of a standalone Apple TV app or a Mac edition. Development-only Party, Duo and printer experiments are not part of the public mobile offer.
